Newport Beach, CA – July 16, 2008 – Birch Street Systems, a leading provider of hosted hospitality management software solutions, today announced the appointment of Leslie McDonald as Director of Business Development.

Ms. McDonald has more than 15 years experience in all aspects of sales and marketing, and is a proven industry leader with a deep commitment to achieving corporate financial objectives. Her experience in a number of industries has given her a unique understanding of sales channels, spending cycles, customer behavior models, and product positioning.

Prior to joining Birch Street, Ms. McDonald was part of the executive team with McMurray Stern; the exclusive Southern California dealer for Spacesaver high-density storage solutions. She was also Vice President of American Home Laboratories; a division of EMSL Analytical, where she spearheaded new channel product development that brought the leading indoor air quality laboratory to the forefront of consumer indoor allergen testing. She can be credited as one of the founders of ‘Mold Clearance’ processes the home inspection market embraced as a new offering to their homeowner markets. Ms. McDonald holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing Communications and Business Administration from San Diego State University.
