Newport Beach, Calif., May 08, 2007 – BirchStreet Systems today announced that Innkeepers Hospitality has selected the BirchStreet Application Suite to automate purchasing and accounts payable (AP) processing. Innkeepers Hospitality, a national hotel management company with an established reputation and expertise in managing upscale extended stay, select service and full service properties, will implement BirchStreet’s eProcurement and AP Matching solution this summer.
The BirchStreet solution will help InnKeepers centralize and streamline AP processing for its 74 limited service properties. The solution leverages purchase orders generated from the BirchStreet e-procurement system and electronic invoices received through BirchStreet’s supplier interfaces. BirchStreet’s AP processing module will perform automated AP matching based on InnKeepers specific business rules. The resulting approved payments will be transmitted into the accounting system while exceptions will be routed for further disposition.
