BirchStreet creates an online, private marketplace where our customers can select their own suppliers, their own products and negotiate their own pricing (as well as utilize a GPO or Group Purchasing Organization). Each property or business creates their own exposure rules to their suppliers. The exposure rules can be by brand, by location or region, at a local level or all controlled by a corporate purchasing department.
Suppliers are therefore an integral part of the procure-to-pay process and a critical component to the daily success of any business operation that relies on ordering supplies, services or food. Our goal is to make it as easy and inexpensive as possible for suppliers to become part of our clients’ private purchasing marketplaces.
There are several options for both small and large suppliers to connect to the businesses who order supplies through BirchStreet. We offer Supplier Adoption services, Punch-out interfaces and Supplier On-the-Fly connections.
